- Welcome to Sacred Prana Yoga / April Mueller
April was originally drawn to yoga for its physical benefits, which helped her to heal from an injury and become healthier and stronger than ever before. After several years of physical exploration of the practice, she began to understand the emotional, energetic and spiritual benefits. Becoming a yoga instructor and diving deeper into her own yoga and meditation practices has opened up endless opportunities for growth, expansion and connection. Her practice is always evolving and she is always learning, allowing her to connect with her students through her own experiences, struggles and successes. Facilitating yoga retreats has become April's favorite way to get to know her students on a deeper level and create a safe space for them to elevate their own personal practices.
April received her 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga certification in January 2014 in Rishikesh, India. Later that year she graduated from Kindness Yoga Studio’s 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Denver, Colorado. She strives to cultivate a teaching style that weaves the philosophy and discipline of the traditional teachings of yoga with the modern lifestyles and challenges of today’s world.
